These pictures consist of the fossil making process for third graders! We imprinted a toy dinosaur’s foot prints as well as the body, then we filled the prints with plaster to model how fossils are created!
This is a photo of our classroom door that the third graders and I worked strategically to discuss, plan, and create for our Winter Door Decorating contest! We won!
Third graders and I worked together to come up with word associations to the word “Democracy” after beginning our unit learning about the U.S. Government!
The students read many books by a local author in a reading unit. This author has many books within the genre of nonfiction Animal books. The students got to meet said author, pick out one of his books featuring an animal, print out their animal and then paint the habitat around it! They loved this and really got to unleash their creativity!
