Pedagogy

“In learning you will teach, and in teaching you will learn.”

What We Can Achieve

  • I pursued education to inspire students in finding their drive to learn. Through student engagement such as flexible spaces within the room, engaging lesson plans, hands-on life experiences, and connecting with a student one-on-one, I can learn what drives a student academically. Finding a students’ passion and working with them will allow for a broader and more driven learning experience for my students.

  • I have come to cherish and bond with all of the students I have worked with, making teaching such an enjoyable experience or me. I truly cannot wait to grow further into my career and see what my students can teach me about themselves as well as how I approach teaching them.

  • Creating a loving, nurturing, and inclusive environment is necessary in order to set a stage for my pedagogy to flourish.

  • Working together to establish boundaries and management tools will allow for students to feel comfortable with what is expected of them as learners.

  • I teach academics with much drive, yet I am equally as present in teaching our youth how to be the person they dream of being.
